Wow! Astonishing Titleist 910F fairway wood

I bought this club last week, took it out for a spin on Sunday in my club. A bit scared to use it for fear of idiot marks due to the shallow crown (to whit - my OCD personality). However, after babying the club for the first 8 holes I got to the monster par 4 9th (400mtrs ++). Hit a scorcher of a drive for severely uphill hole in 4 degrees celsius.

The Titleist 910F Fairway Wood metals deliver total performance with improvements in flight, fit, looks, feel and sound. The Titleist 910F delivers versatile, all-around performance from the tee or turf. Its thin crown and high performance weighting create a low and deep CG for easier launch off the turf.

Then second shot from 180 metres hit the fairway wood to an uphill green and came 2 metres short of the green. Dropped a ball in the same spot and tried again - same penetrating ball flight - rocketed with avery slight draw toward the front of a heavily contoured green and came within 10 metres of the hole. I never hit that green in 2 before. Needless to say - I fell in love and started singing to myself about my new mistress.

Titleist 910 fairway metals are available in two models that provide distinct performance. The 910F is a versatile, maximum forgiveness fairway metal designed for outstanding performance from the turf or tee. The 910F features a pear shaped head design with a deep CG for easier launch off the turf and straighter more consistent ball flight.

Titleist's latest fairway wood showcases the same adjustable technology found in its 910D series drivers. The "SureFit Tour" hosel with "dual angle technology" enables you to adjust loft and lie independently of each other, so you can alter loft without affecting lie, or vice versa.

And its patented, SureFit Tour, dual-angle hosel technology provides the ability to make precise, independent loft and lie adjustments to fine-tune ball flight for more distance and accuracy. The payoff: It's so simple to custom-fit this cheap golf clubs to your desired trajectory (high, medium or low), spin rate, and shot shape (fade or draw).

Simply put - the best fairway wood I have used to date, with a lovely balanced shaft (75 gram stiff Diamana)and beautiful, elegant head shape. I really don't think Titleist can be matched across it's range. Everything they delivery is pure and utter class - and they just keep getting better.
