Ping K15 Hybrid

The Ping K15 Hybrid is available in 3H, 4H, 5H and 6H. They rely on an extremely high moment of inertia and a patent-pending feature that creates lower-spinning, higherlaunching shots that fly longer and straighter.

A multimetal iron design combines a large, lightweight titanium face with a 17–4 stainless-steel body to increase forgiveness and improve launch conditions. Weight saved from the titanium face is allocated to the sole and perimeter to achieve more accuracy and higher ball flights.

Key Technologies: This design evolved from the G15. The iron-style head with offset creates a more dynamic launch than previous models and helps to get the ball in the air more easily. Ping designers took weight away from the center and placed it in the heel and sole, increasing inertia dramatically for improved forgiveness.

Testers Say: One of the highest-rated hybrids in the test; excellent sticks for players who need help achieving higher flight; blends seamlessly with K15 irons.

Ping K15 Driver and Hybrid

John K. Solheim, who leads Ping's golf club engineering sector, believes the addition of the K15 Series of clubs to the company's successful G15 and i15 family will help golfers better determine the technology best suited for their games.

The K15 series includes a new driver in three loft options, fairway woods and iron/hybrid set. Today, I will talk about K15 Driver and K15 Hybrid.

The Ping K15 Driver has an elongated head design that combines with an external weight pad to position the center of gravity for higher launching and longer carry drives. It is engineered with Straight Flight Technology (SFT) which promotes natural club head rotation by concentrating approximately 10% of the head mass towards the heel. A larger face increases forgiveness and ball velocity for greater distance and accuracy.

The Ping K15 Hybrid is designed as a compliment to the K15 irons, the K15 hyrbid allows you to pptimize your set to improve your ball flight, and build consistency in your game. This hybrid replaces harder-to-hit long irons, and relies on a patent-pending design that creates lower-spinning, higher-launching shots that fly straighter and longer. A large internal weight pad in the hybrid produces a high MOI for added forgiveness. The hybrid’s offset hosel and face relationship increases launch and lowers spin.

When you can control your game from 175 yards and out you have a better chance of reaching more greens in regulation and a better chance of playing better golf.  When you can reach more greens you will turn bogeys into pars and pars into birdies.  Imagine what that could do to the score you turn in at the end of your round.

However, if you are a mid to low handicap that has a fade or plays a slice, then these are a good choice for you. The offset hosel paired with the design for lower spin will give you more control and allow you to hit the ball further than you are used to. These cheap golf clubs can help to improve your game if you are not already shooting in the low 80s or better.
